Who is BlackwaterBLUE?

For years, my brother had tried to drum 'the beautiful game' into me, but it hadn't worked. Up to the age of twelve I was more interested in toys and drawing than football! One day, something changed and he convinced me to go to see the mighty Blues. It started with a home game against Oldham Athletic in March of 1983 and an away scrap at Portsmouth a few weeks later. That was it. I had been introduced to Chelsea. The following season, I was lucky enough to be included on a TV feature about Chelsea's Milk Cup clash with Millwall.

Many more trips followed through my teens and I spent most of that time in the 'middle of the Shed'... sometimes in the benches of the West stand and, on occasions, in the East. Then of course in the temporary locations through the 90's. For almost three decades I have enjoyed the ups and downs of being a Chelsea fan. These days, I watch from the Matthew Harding lower, in a seat I've occupied since 1999. I am delighted to have friends in and around the club. Happy days.

I will share stories and rumours I like and my views about Chelsea; and only Chelsea. I won't post random football stories that have no connection with Stamford Bridge. Share you opinions with me through the polls on the home page. Please read, comment if you wish, and follow me on Twitter. KTBFFH
