Redknapp after Drogba and Alex
Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp is planning a double raid for Chelsea pair Didier Drogba and Alex. According to reports, Redknapp is hopeful of landing both Chelsea stars when the January transfer window opens. Redknapp is a long term admirer of Drogba and has been keeping tabs on the players situation at Stamford bridge as his contract expires at the end of the current campaign. It is believed Tottenham will be willing to offer Chelsea £6m for Drogba. Spurs are also showing an interest in centre back Alex and it is believed they could offer £15m for the pair. Both Drogba and Alex face stiff competition for places in the Chelsea starting line up, where as Tottenham will be able to offer both players regular first-team football.
