Boss relaxed on contracts for Drogba and Bosingwa
Andre Villas-Boas is confident striker Didier Drogba and defender Jose Bosingwa will soon agree new deals to extend their stay at the club. The pair are both in the last year of their contracts at Stamford Bridge and so far no advanced discussions have taken place regarding a renewal. But Villas-Boas has revealed he is keeping on top of the situations of both players through regular contact with Blues chief executive Ron Gourlay, and believes it is only a matter of time before agreements are reached. "When you address renewals, it's always a good time to motivate people," he told reporters. "It's a situation where we are on top and judging according to what we feel best. We are in talks at the moment about the situation with the CEO and eventually with the players which we feel are right."
