King Kenny interested in Kalou?
Liverpool are reportedly lining up a January move for Salomon Kalou. The forward had been linked with a move to Merseyside before, with reports during the summer suggesting Chelsea had offered the Ivorian in a bid to sign midfielder Raul Meireles. Meireles made the move on transfer deadline day, but it was a straight cash deal and Kalou stayed in west London. Liverpool signed Luis Suarez and Andy Carroll last January, then strengthened their options further by signing Craig Bellamy on a free in August. But Kenny Dalgish is still thought to be keen on adding an extra forward to his squad and will make a bid in the region of £8m when the transfer window reopens. Moves for the player will likely lead to further speculation about the future of Dirk Kuyt, who is a target for Inter Milan.
